A selection of recent work from French illustrator and graphic designer Célestin Krier. Krier’s drawing practice began in childhood and seeks to preserve the sense of raw, brutal naivety from those early years. Raised by an archaeologist father, Krier developed a strong interest in strange and ancient imagery. His work aims to reintroduce cryptic and sibylline forms into the contemporary world, creating precarious, unpolished images with unbalanced shapes that Krier believes radiate a powerful energy.
