Redmi unveiled the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro in China earlier this month, and now it looks like the Note 17 headed to India has just run Geekbench. As usual, this means there’s a listing for it in the Geekbench online database, and that it reveals the chipset at the helm.

It’s the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC, same as in the Chinese Note 17. This is aided by 8GB of RAM in the specific unit that ran the benchmark. The phone runs Android 16. As you can see in the screenshot below, it managed a 950 single-core score and a 2,324 multi-core score in Geekbench 6.7.1.

According to a recent rumor, the Redmi Note 17 will launch in India on August 6. It’s expected to be identical to the Chinese version. If that pans out, then it will have a 7-inch 1080×2396 OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800-nit peak brightness, 128/256GB of storage, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, and an 8,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
