Redmi today launched the R70 and R70m in China. These are basically the same phone with one key difference – the battery capacity.
Thus, the R70 comes with a 6.9-inch LCD screen with 720×1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 800-nit peak brightness, the Unisoc T8300 SoC at the helm, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired and 7.5W reverse wired charging.

The R70m, on the other hand, has a 6,300 mAh battery with the same charging specs. Everything else is identical to the R70. The Redmi R70 is offered in four RAM/storage versions: 4/128GB, 6/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB. The R70 starts at CNY 1,599 or about $234.
The R70m can be yours in four RAM/storage combos too: 6/128GB, 6/256GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB. This one starts at CNY 1,799 or about $263. Both models come in black, white, blue, and purple. Unfortunately, there’s no telling whether these handsets will ever be sold outside of China.
