Samsung’s upcoming wide-format Galaxy Z Fold, most recently believed to be called Galaxy Z Fold8 (while the successor in form to the Galaxy Z Fold7 would be the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra), has now been certified for sale in India by BIS.

It has the model number SM-F971B. The certification doesn’t reveal any specs, but according to previous rumors the device will sport a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. It’s expected to weigh around 200g.

BIS has also certified the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, with the model number SM-L715F. This device is rumored to pack an 800 mAh battery, and to have 5G connectivity, using Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon Wear Elite SoC.

Both of these devices are expected to become official at Samsung’s next Unpacked launch event, which is rumored to take place in London on July 22.
