MacOS got a few noteworthy upgrades at Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference this year in Cupertino. The latest version is called MacOS Sequoia.

One of the biggest is iPhone mirroring. Now, through MacOS’ Continuity feature, you can mirror your iPhone’s screen and control it right from your Mac. Notifications on Mac bring up iPhone mirror mode, and iPhone audio comes through the Mac as well — but the paired iPhone stays locked.

Elsewhere, MacOS Sequoia introduces automatic window tiling, and a presenter preview mode for video conferencing with a built-in background replacement. Upgrades to Keychain, including a new cross-platform Passwords app, help you manage passwords.

Safari now has highlights, which uses AI to automatically detect interesting things and show you with a click. And Safari’s Reader mode now has AI-powered summaries of pages and tables of contents.
