Xiaomi will soon launch two new tablets, the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The main specs for both have been leaked today in China. If you’ve been waiting for a successor to the Pad 6S Pro, these aren’t that. Instead, as the naming implies, they’re meant to replace the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, launched in April 2023.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 will allegedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and will have support for 45W wired charging. The Pad 7 Pro, on the other hand, will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 at the helm, paired with support for 67W wired charging.

Both tablets will apparently share the same 11.16-inch LCD screen with 144 Hz refresh rate. The 6S Pro will remain on sale as it will still be Xiaomi’s top of the line tablet. It’s unclear exactly when the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will debut – it could be as soon as the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro announcement later this month.
